George P. Ndekey, serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MARGOR LLC., (MGBS). As CEO, George oversees all aspects of the organization’s strategy and operations, including client delivery teams and back-office corporate functions. Prior to becoming CEO in 2021, George served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for MGBS LLC.
George helped drive outstanding business growth and a reputation for delivering exceptional client service since the firm’s inception in 2010. George worked to identify the talent and commitment to quality to grow the firm from an idea in 2010 to a professional services organization in 2015. George led the development of foundational principles that drove MGBS’s growth – specifically, a commitment to hire MGBS talented leaders and always focusing upon the clients and communities that we serve.
Since assuming the role as CEO on the firm’s fifteen-year anniversary, August 31, 2024, George continues to effectively manage the growth of the organization by balancing an aggressive go-to-market strategy with the greatest standards for operational excellence. As a founder, George also has had the privileged opportunity to shape the culture of the MGBS organization. To carry out his vision of maintaining high morale amongst a primarily remote workforce, George organized the Culture Action Team (CAT) that is charged with keeping a pulse of the firm’s culture and promoting high morale through organized team building activities.
Prior to becoming CEO, George served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) & CFO of MGBS. In these roles, George leveraged past educational and professional experiences to form the foundation of growth for MGBS, a core system of internal controls. As a graduate of University of Maryland’s School of Business and Industry’s undergraduate accounting program and the University of Maryland’s MBA program, George’s educational background led him to become a Certified Government Financial Accountant (CGFM) as well as a MBA. As an internal audit practitioner within the financial services industry, both professional certifications contributed to a high-performing career that included various roles in internal audit and a quality assurance role within enterprise risk management. George credits much of his success in the roles he has occupied at MGBS to his educational and professional experiences.
Outside of MGBS, George enjoys spending quality time in sunny beaches in Florida, California, and Hawaii, to name a few with his family. He is also an active member of the American Red Cross Volunteer team, Disaster Finance, as assistant finance director, under the CFO group. George have worked for a couple of Non-profit organizations in the DC metro area, and GovCon firms in the area as Director of finance and CFO. He also worked for PriceWaterHouse Cooper, one of the big four accounting firms in the world.
